Belgrade caterers satisfied with the partnership
Recognition to Eko Dim
The General Association of Caterers of Belgrade handed to Eko Dim company the Letter of thanks for the partnership and contribution in the prevention of fires in catering facilities.
The campaign "Belgrade without fire" gave positive results, and in Eko Dim they say: "We continue on!"
Belgrade, November 19th, 2011 - At the initiative of its members and representatives of renowned Belgrade restaurants, the General Association of Caterers of Belgrade handed the Letter of thanks to Eko Dim for the partnership and overall contribution to the safety of catering facilities in the capital city.
The "Belgrade without fire" campaign in catering facilities was launched in April with the intention of reducing the risk of fire and helping caterers to adequately comply with legal regulations.
Prior to this campaign, only 50% of catering facilities was regularly maintaining these systems in the manner prescribed by the Law. Considering the estimate that there are over 3,600 facilities operating in Belgrade, it is clear how many risk points there are in the city.
Within a few months of the campaign, the statistics began to change, partly due to the special conditions provided to Belgrade's caterers by the company Eko Dim .
- We believe that respecting the Law in terms of prevention is very important because the damage, which may occur during fires in catering facilities, many times exceeds the funds invested in maintaining the ventilation system, and not to mention the penalties imposed by inspections for failure to maintain the system. Having in mind the current economic situation, as a professional association, we have tried to provide our members a partner who would offer them favorable conditions and quality maintenance service. We have found the right partner in the company Eko Dim and we have better and better campaign results, but also an increasing number of satisfied members, - says Nikola Dimitrijević, President of the General Association of Caterers of Belgrade.
In Eko Dim they say that this recognition makes them happy, because it’s a confirmation of many years of dedicated work in the field of chimney sweeping and maintenance services for ventilation and air conditioning systems. It is also a sign that the company has the potential to create partnerships which promote compliance with the Law and raise awareness of the importance of prevention in terms of fire protection in catering facilities.
- This recognition obliges us to continue the campaign "Belgrade without fire", primarily by trying to get the support of the competent city inspections which control the conditions in which catering facilities operate, but also the Directorate for Prevention of the Emergency Situations Sector. We all have the same task and the same goal, so it is very important that we cooperate and help each other in order to mark the "closing time" for fires in Belgrade restaurants, - says Director of Eko Dim, Goran Miličević.
